Gymnázium Janka Kráľa (The Janko Kráľ Gymnasium) in Zlaté Moravce is one of the oldest grammar schools in Slovakia. The school is located in a historic building. It is situated in a beautiful green area. The school also has a new gymnasium and a dining hall. In the 2023/2024 school year, 210 students attend the gymnasium, and 17 qualified teachers provide teaching.
The gymnasium provides a secondary education with a high school diploma in a four-year field of study and prepares students for university studies. The school offers the study of four foreign languages: English, French, German, Russian. In addition to teaching compulsory subjects, students have the opportunity to choose subjects necessary for their professional direction. In the afternoon, students have the opportunity to choose leisure activities in clubs of different focus.
The school successfully works on various projects with a focus on natural sciences, the environment, and on projects in the field of sports. We implement international projects through the eTwinning platform. The gymnasium has been participating in Erasmus+ projects since 2018.
